Episode 189: Dream Bigger Conference

Andrea: [00:00:03] Welcome to the Legalpreneur Podcast. I’m your host, Andrea Sager, founder and CEO of Legalpreneur, Inc. As a serial entrepreneur and someone that works exclusively with small business owners legally protecting their business, I’m dedicated to covering common legal issues faced by business owners, providing you with the business knowledge you need to catapult your businesses growth and showing you just how some of the world’s most elite entrepreneurs have handled these legal and business issues themselves in true attorney fashion. The information in this episode is not legal advice. This is for informational purposes only, and you should always consult with your attorney before implementing any of the information in the show.

Andrea: [00:00:47] And hello. Welcome back to another episode of the Legalpreneur podcast. I have a special episode today. I don’t know if you’ve seen I don’t know if you’ve heard but legal pretty rare live is now dream bigger. That’s right. We completely rebranded the event in the middle of promoting the event like did all things that people say you should not do. And I said, You know what? Fuck it, I can do whatever the hell I want and let me I want to give you the back story because I just want to be very raw and authentic around this and give you the permission that you may be looking for. So. I came up with the idea for Legalpreneur Live last year and I just knew we wanted to have a live event to further cultivate this community. And the whole purpose of this community is to break down the barrier, break down this wall, this stigma around legal protection, because there’s a difference between having to pay lawyers, you know, X number of dollars. And it’s not you know, people just feel don’t feel good about paying attorneys sometimes. But I wanted to break down that wall and know, hey, we to help the audience and our clients and our customers know, hey, we really are here to protect you. And first we lead with this free education. That way you can make an informed decision on how you want to get that protection, whether you DIY or pay an attorney or use a third party or whatever it is. As long as you get the protection, I don’t care how you get it done.

Andrea: [00:02:31] But I wanted to build a community around this and really get people to see, Hey, the legal stuff doesn’t have to be scary. Even though we’re a legal company, most legal companies, you see old white men in three piece suits that that was always my vision of an attorney. But look at me like I’m in workout clothes. And most of the time, like 90% of the time I am in workout clothes, you’ll never catch me in a suit. And that’s because I want to change the view around attorneys. Well came up with this idea for Legalpreneur Live. We knew we were going to do it this year and I never thought about like the name. I was just like, sure, Legalpreneur live, whatever. Let’s hurry up and get this done. Because it was kind of a last minute decision. Well, as we’ve been. Advertising and promoting the event. I haven’t felt great around the name because we’re spending a lot of time telling people what it isn’t because we have to. I always say, Hey, it’s not a legal conference. We’re talking all things business and personal growth. And I didn’t want to have to do that. I wanted to just tell people what the conference is about and the whole theme has been dream bigger because that’s been like the whole theme of my life over the past year and a half, especially the past year. Growing Legalpreneur as the brand. And I had my call last week with Chris Harder, who as you know is, my business coach, my mentor, everything.

Andrea: [00:03:56] And we were talking about the event and I like he brought it up about thinking about a name change. And I was like, Honestly, I’ve been thinking about it, but I don’t like I don’t want to change the name in the middle of the event, like in the middle of us promoting. And he’s like, Andrea, you can do whatever you want. And literally he just gave me permission. And that’s why I wanted to share this story with you, because a lot of times we’re just looking for permission. And so I’m here to give you permission to do whatever you feel called to do, whether that’s making a change, making a big decision, or maybe it’s just, Oh yeah, I am doing the right thing. Like I have permission to continue doing this. Like, if it feels good to me, I’m going to do it. And having the conference name Legal Alive, it didn’t feel good to me, but now having it dream bigger, that feels hella good to me. And already people are loving the name change. And right now tickets are actually on a waitlist. We so we are  going to do this whole rebrand with a huge blowout sale. So we’re doing a flash sale on July 11th. This whole flash sale is going to be crazy. But in order to get the details of what it is, you have to text me. The word event. So text the word event to eight three, two, two, two, five, 3164.

Andrea: [00:05:20] That’s it. Just text the word event and we will get to the details. But in order to get. The details of the flash sale and even have access to the flash sale. You have to be on the text list, so go ahead and text me right now the word event 832, two, 253164. Now takes you back. I promise I will say hi, but. Seriously. I’m so excited for this rebrand. And it’s still the same conference, same speakers, same badass women, same badass men, same badassery, but it’s just a different name. And we’re going to have an amazing flash sale, like, I’m so pumped. And after that, we’re going to have some other promotions, but. Seriously if you want to get on the list. For the flash sale. Text me and. Be ready because 24 hours only on July 11, it will end after 24 hours and you will not be able to get that offer anymore. So and I mean, when I’m saying I’m talking like 70% off, 70% plus off. So seriously, you don’t want to miss it. It’s going to be October 5th, the seventh. Phenix, Arizona. I’m talking all things business and personal growth. And we are actually lining up some amazing resources for you guys this week. I’m really pumped because my firm, my law firm is Andrea Sager law. We grew tremendously and a lot of that was because of conferences that I attended and sponsored. I had a booth that and I know how conference attendees, they’re not always for sure what they’re there for.

Andrea: [00:07:03] They’re like, I just sometimes there’s like any connection. I do want to hear from these great speakers, but something that a lot of people sleep on is the booths. The vendors that are there. And I always, always knew like, hey, if I have a conference, I want to make sure we have the best sponsors, the best booths, they’re the best vendors. Because I have personally discovered amazing resources myself at conferences by visiting all the booths. And I can’t tell you how many people found us at conferences and they’re like, Oh my gosh. Like they were thanking me for being there because they knew they needed an attorney, but they didn’t know how to find one, somebody that knew their business, somebody that really knew what they were looking for. But I was there in front of them and they’re like, Oh, this is a sign like, this is it. Like, I’m so glad you’re here. So if you’re interested in having being a vendor and discovering having people discover you, we’ll have 4 to 500 in-person attendees. Shoot me an email. Andrea at Andrea Sager. I’ll get you the info. We only have a few more booth spots left and I’m being very picky because I want to make sure we have literally the best vendors there. So this is something you’re interested interested in connecting with business owners. 4 to 500 business owners, founders. This could be like your big break in business. So hit me up on the text list. Don’t forget, I’ll see you.

Andrea: [00:08:35] Here at Legalpreneur. We’re committed to providing a supportive legal community for all business owners. I know how scary the legal stuff can be. If you found this information helpful, I would be so grateful if you could share it with a fellow business owner. And quite frankly, it doesn’t cost anything to rate, review or subscribe to the show. Your support helps me reach more listeners, which allows me to support more business owners in their entrepreneurial journey. Have any questions or comments about the show? Feel free to drop me a line on Instagram, I promise. I read all of the messages and comments and if you want to be a guest on the show or know someone that would make a great guest, simply fill out our application form and a team member will reach out if we think it’s a good fit.
