Legalpreneur Member Training Videos with Q&A

Submitting Online Takedowns

One of the major perks of being an online entrepreneur is the ability to use online takedown tools. Now, you might not immediately see this as a “perk” because needing to file a takedown usually means someone has copied your work, infringed on your rights, or used your content without permission. If this has happened to you, know that it’s almost a rite of passage for online business owners. It happens to me constantly—even as an intellectual property attorney, other attorneys sometimes steal my content! The good news is, I don’t have to go through the hassle of suing them or even sending a cease-and-desist letter. Instead, I simply file an online takedown request to have the infringing content removed—and you can do the same.
